My grandmother loved hummingbirds and puzzles. When I saw this image, I knew I had make it into a puzzle in her memory.
Ruby-throated hummingbirds on trumpet vine. Original image by John James Audubon, though I did some digital adjustments to make it work better as a puzzle. The white in the image will all be cut away.
When cut as 10×13″ it had 175 pieces. Lots and lots of drop outs. No whimsies. Some pieces are very thin. Some are large. Some are small. It is very hard to predetermine the number of pieces and impossible to control the piece size in this style puzzle with this many drop outs.
Puzzle will ship unassembled in a box with a label and small image. If you do not want a image on the box, please let me know.
This puzzle is made to order and will take at least 6 weeks. If you have a deadline, please contact me before ordering.
