Description
3:00 is tea or coffee time at our house. When the kids were little, it was a time for everyone to have some quiet, peaceful time to themselves and for the parent in charge to have a break. We no longer need that type of break, but the tradition remains. The perfect afternoon is sitting in the sunroom, listening to the rain while drinking a cup of tea and visiting with friends. And yes, I pick different cups, most of them are handmade, for different drinks and different moods. Because of this, I decided to do a series of puzzles based on my tea cups.
This is the first of the series and based on a china tea cup that has little silver bands running around it. It’s perfect for when you don’t need a big cup of caffeine but want a small elegant cup.
This puzzle is only 58 pieces, but they are painted white and gray on both sides in a mixture of matte and gloss finishes. It’s 8.5×5″ and cut with curls and spirals. Because each is drawn, cut and painted by hand, the size and number of pieces will vary.
