Description
Watermelon is one of my favorite fruits. I can have a slab of watermelon for lunch and be as happy as can be. My youngest son is the same. He’ll even gobble up flavorless winter watermelon that no one else in the family will touch. So you understand why, when I saw Mary Halym‘s luscious watermelon painting I knew I had to get her permission to make a puzzle from it.
This puzzle has lots of drop outs (all of the white in the image will be cut away). No whimsies. Some pieces are very thin. Some are large. Some are small. It is very hard to predetermine the number of pieces and impossible to control the piece size in this style puzzle with this many drop outs.
The images are for a 13 x 11″ Maypop Mary Halym puzzle with 263 average sized pieces. If you prefer smaller pieces, please let me know when you order.
Puzzle will ship unassembled in a box with a label and small image. If you do not want a image on the box, please let me know.
This puzzle is made to order and will take at least 6 weeks. If you have a deadline, please contact me before ordering.
